Marine Primary is delighted to welcome you to the launch of our very first official website.

Marine Primary has a very proud and rich historical background in Ocean View. Many families have attended the school through 4 generations that dates back to the 1960’s. We are situated in a part of the Western Cape which is one the most beautiful parts of South Africa.

As a staff we endeavour to create opportunities for our learners to grow in confidence and build a solid foundation for the rest of his/her learning life. As a school, we are very excited about all the things that we can offer the children and families who become part of our community, and we hope that this website will help you to find out many more of the reasons for choosing Marine Primary as the educational home for your child, as well as all of the things you would like to know about us.

The school offers Grade R through to Grade 7 as well as the sporting codes of netball, soccer and an afterschool programme (MOD Centre) for learners with different sporting interests. We encourage our learners to be polite, courteous and helpful to respect their teachers, adults and fellow learners.

We want our learner to have pride in their school and to uphold the name of the school at all times. The effectiveness and success of our school as an educational institution is determined by the actual and positive involvement, personal input and abilities of our staff members, learners and parent community.  Let us together strive to make our school our pride.
